I grew up in Brookeville, Maryland, which is about 15 miles north of Washington, DC. Growing up I loved skiing every opportunity I could in Pennsylvania and Vermont. In the summers, I rode horses and showed competitively in local and regional hunter competitions. I graduated from McDaniel College with a BA in English at age 21 and immediately moved to Lake Tahoe to ski and enjoy North Lake's world class recreational opportunities.
